- The Lakers are coming off another big win over Bloomsburg 95-47 for their second PSAC victory of the year. Trystan Pratapas, Malik Jones and Nelson Maxwell added 16, 12 and 11 points, respectively, for MU (6-1, 2-1). Massey and Patrick Smith grabbed nine rebounds each. MiyKah McIntosh dished seven assists while Nicholas Lang made six.
- Against Bloomsburg, the huskies jumped out to an early 7-4 lead before Mercyhurst responded with a 13-0 run. Maxwell had six points during that streak, which helped the Lakers to a 17-7 advantage. MU added a 9-0 stretch later in the half as Jones hit a pair of 3-pointers while Pratapas hit one trey. The Lakers continued to build their lead and went into intermission with a 47-23 margin. After scoring the last two points of the first half, the Lakers opened the second with a 20-3 run -- led by 12 points from Massey. MU led by as many as 49 points before ceiling the win.
- The Lakers lead the all-time series against Kutztown 5-3. MU is undefeated at home against the Golden Bears and will look to keep it that way come Tuesday.
