The Mercyhurst women's ice hockey team is set to travel to eighth-ranked Ohio State on Dec. 15-16. Puck drops at 3 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday.
 
Last Time Out
The Lakers hosted non-conference opponent Bemidji State and split the weekend, winning 3-0 on Friday and falling 3-1 on Saturday.
 
Summer-Rae Dobson, Sarah Hine, Maggie Knott, Emily Pinto, Alexa Vasko, Sam Isbell, Emma Nuutinen and Molly Blasen tallied points for the Lakers.
 
In net, Sarah McDonnell made 47 saves while earning her fourth shutout of the season and 12th of her career.
 
Previous Matchup
Last season the Lakers welcomed the Buckeyes to the Mercyhurst Ice Center for a two-game series. The Lakers fell 2-1 before winning 6-4 the next day.

Maltais is ranked fourth in the nation with 1.00 assists per game and ranked 11th with 1.39 points per game. Skaggs is tied for 19th with 0.61 goals per game. Dunne is tied for 5th with 0.83 points per game for a defenseman and tied for 11th with 0.78 assists per game.
 
The Buckeyes are ninth in the nation on the penalty kill with 89.1 percent. They are ranked 25th on the power play going 13.3 percent.

Laker Lineup
Mercyhurst has a 8-7-2, 6-2-0 CHA record.
 
Nuutinen is on top of the Laker roster with seven goals and 13 points. Knott is next with 11 points and Dobson has 10 points. Hine and Vasko are close behind with nine points each.

CHA Weekly Honors
Dobson was named the CHA Player of the Week. She recorded two goals during the Lakers' 3-0 win over Bemidji. McDonnell was named the CHA Goaltender of the Week. She recorded her fourth shutout of the season during the Lakers' 3-0 win over Bemidji. She recorded 47 saves on the weekend.
