WALTHAM, Mass. --
Derek Barach scored two goals and
Brendan Riley tallied the late game-winner as the Mercyhurst men's ice hockey team defeated Bentley, 3-2, to complete a two-game Atlantic Hockey series sweep on Saturday.
Stefano Cantali was the winning goaltender, finishing with 28 saves.

Ethan Johnson contributed assists for the Lakers (7-7-2, 5-4-1).
Barach picked up right where he left off on Friday night, when he scored the game's final three goals. On Saturday, he scored the first two. Barach had an even-strength goal 50 seconds into the game, getting assistance from Whittaker, Then, Barach had a power-play goal 3:14 into the contest with assists from Anderson and McDougall.
Bentley drew even with two straight goals. Michael Zuffarte scored in the first period and Tanner Jago knotted the contest in the second.
Riley scored the game-winner with 3:21 remaining in the contest. He had assists from Ipri and Johnson.
MU was 1 of 7 on the power play while Bentley finished 2-for-5.
Goalie Aidan Pelino made 24 saves for the Falcons (5-9-1, 4-7-1).
With six points on the weekend, Barach moved into sole possession of 11th place on the Lakers' Division I all-time scoring list. He now has 123 points. He passed
Daniel O'Donoghue (2010-14) and
Ryan Misiak (2011-15), who had 119 points during their time as Lakers.
The Lakers will return to action next weekend with a two-game AHA series at Air Force.
