Men's Ice Hockey Heads to Bentley

The Mercyhurst men's ice hockey team begins a stretch of away games with a two-game weekend series at Bentley. Puck drops at 7:05 p.m. both nights.
 
Last Time Out
Mercyhurst played a home-and-home series with Robert Morris, falling 3-1 on Friday and 7-1 at home on Saturday.
 
Joshua Lammon scored both of the Laker goals while Derek Barach, Wes Baker, Joseph Duszak and Taylor Best tallied assists.
 
Stefano Cantali made 45 saves in net while Colin DeAugustine made 12 saves in a relief effort on Saturday.
 
Previous Matchup
Last season the Lakers and Falcons met in Waltham, Mass., and split the series. Mercyhurst dropped the first game 4-3 before shutting out Bentley 2-0 the next night.
 
James Anderson, Jeremy Wu, Matthew Whittaker, Duszak, Best and Lammon recorded points for Mercyhurst.
 
Charlie Marchand, Ryner Gorowsky, Tanner Jago, Luke Santerno, Drew Callin, Connor Brassard, Brendan Hamblet and Matt Riggleman had points for Bentley.

Santerno is on top of the Falcon roster with 12 assists and 15 points. Jago has 10 points and close behind him are Alexey Solovyev with nine points and Callin with eight points.
 
In net, Aidan Pelino has put forth a 4-7-1 record with a 3.09 goals against average and .887 save percentage. Jake Bryniarski has earned a 1-0-0 record, making 22 saves in a relief effort, during Bentley's overtime win against Sacred Heart.
 
Bentley is ranked 21st on the power play with 19.6 percent and 43rd on the penalty kill with 77.8 percent.
 
Santerno is tied for eighth in the nation with 0.92 assists per game.
 
Gorowsky is riding a four-game point streak with four assists and five points in his last four games.
 
A Look at the Lakers
Mercyhurst is coming into the series with a 5-7-2, 3-4-1 record.
 
Duszak is leading the Lakers with 12 assists and 15 points. Dalton Hunter and Barach are next with 10 points each. Lammon is close behind with nine points.
 
Between the pipes, Cantali has a 3-5-1 record, 2.96 GAA and .899 save percentage. DeAugustine has a 0-1-1 record, 6.36 GAA and .852 save percentage and Garrett Metcalf has a 2-1-0 record, 2.25 GAA and .917 save percentage.
