ERIE, Pa. -- The Mercyhurst men's basketball team will host Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference opponent Seton Hill for a 7:30 p.m. start on Wednesday.

The Lakers (6-6, 3-5 PSAC) are coming off a 91-62 home win over Clarion on Monday. Malcolm Walters led Mercyhurst with 24 points and seven rebounds. Dajuan Dent added 12 points and five rebounds off the bench while Derrick Ellis Jr. dished nine assists for the Lakers, who ended a five-game skid in PSAC play.

Seton Hill (5-9, 2-7) is coming off a 75-60 loss at Gannon on Monday.

Lorenzo Collier currently leads Mercyhurst with 14.7 points per game and an .822 free-throw percentage while Malcolm Walters puts in 13.8. Patrick Smith, who has four double-doubles this season, is the leading rebounder with an average of 7.9. Smith ranks ninth in the PSAC in the rebound department. Derrick Ellis Jr. averages 2.9 assists.

As a team, MU has the second-best scoring defense in the conference, allowing only 63.7 points per game.

Nathan Davis is SHU's leading scorer with 14.4 points per game. He also averages 5.4 rebounds. The Griffins' top rebounder is Spencer Casson, with 6.5 boards per game. Trevor Lecuona dishes 3.8 assists per contest.

Mercyhurst has won all eight of its contests all-time against Seton Hill.
