Men's Basketball Welcomes Clarion For First Home Game Of New Calendar Year

ERIE, Pa. -- The Mercyhurst men's basketball team will host Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference foe Clarion for a 7:30 p.m. start on Monday.

The Lakers (5-6, 2-5 PSAC) are coming off a 77-57 road loss to Indiana (Pa.) on Saturday. Mercyhurst has lost its last fivegames of PSAC play.

Lorenzo Collier currently leads Mercyhurst with 15.5 points per game while Malcolm Walters puts in 12.9. Patrick Smith, who has four double-doubles this season, is the leading rebounder with an average of 8.1. Smith also averages 7.6 points.

Clarion's leading scorer is Kyheim Hall, who averages 19.6 points. Cameron Grumley (15.0) and Mason Mraz (13.4) also average in double-figures.

The Lakers have won eight of their last nine games against Clarion.
