ERIE, Pa. -- The Mercyhurst men's basketball team host California (Pa.) on on Saturday for a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference contest in the Mercyhurst Athletic Center. Tip-off for the Porreco Pride of Erie game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at the Hammermill Center.

The Lakers (7-8, 4-7) are led by Lorenzo Collier and Malcolm Walters, who are averaging 15.3 and 13.8 points per game, respectively.

Patrick Smith has had five double-doubles in 2017-18 and averages 8.3 rebounds and 8.0 points. Derrick Ellis Jr. leads MU in assists with 2.7 per game.

Mercyhurst has dropped its last two games, falling to Pittsburgh-Johnstown and Gannon.
