ERIE, Pa. --
Kurtis Woodland scored five goals as the seventh-ranked Mercyhurst men's lacrosse team cruised to a 17-4 victory over Alderson Broaddus in Great Midwest Athletic Conference action on Tuesday.
Keyan McQueen and
Myles Young added two goals apiece for the Lakers while single tallies were recorded by
James Crowe,
Evan Hollfelder,
Oran Horn,
John Plaskey,
Joseph Plaskey,
Derek Richards,
Austin Robare and
Ryan Vitale.
McQueen also had three assists, five groundballs and three caused turnovers.
Colin Greenway and
Greg Weyl contributed two assists each while solo assists were credited to Crowe, Richards,
Dan Barrow and
Michael Poe.
Weyl totaled seven groundballs while winning goalie
William Koester finished with six saves.
Mercyhurst will return to action on Saturday when Indianapolis visits for a 2 p.m. contest.
