James Crowe and
Kurtis Woodland recorded three goals and one assist each as the eighth-ranked Mercyhurst men's lacrosse team defeated Saint Rose, 14-4, in a non-conference game on Wednesday at Tullio Field.
Keyan McQueen also had a four-point game, finishing with two goals and two assists for the Lakers (3-1).
Oran Horn scored two goals while
Benjamin Brooks,
Derek Richards,
Ben Smith-Wilcox and
Kevin Vaughn tallied one goal apiece.
Single assists were recorded by
Michael Convery,
Liam Dollard,
Evan Hollfelder and
Dan Kritkausky.
The Lakers scored eight consecutive goals, turning a 2-1 lead into a 10-1 lead, and held a comfortable margin from there.
Greg Weyl had four groundballs and three caused turnovers on the defensive side. Winning goalie

William Koester stopped two shots in a relief effort.
Mercyhurst will return to action on Saturday with a 1 p.m. home contest against non-conference opponent Wheeling Jesuit.
