Box Score MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- The Mercyhurst men's ice hockey team fell, 3-2, in overtime to Robert Morris during Atlantic Hockey play on Saturday. A goal by RMU's Ben Robillard ended the contest.
 
Jack Riley and Taylor Best scored the Laker goals while Zach Todd, Derek Barach and Matthew Whittaker tallied assists for Mercyhurst (12-16-4, 11-11-4).
 
Daniel Mantenuto and Timmy Moore scored for Robert Morris (17-11-4, 13-10-3).
 
Riley got the Lakers on the board first on the power play with his seventh goal of the season. Todd and Barach picked up assists on the goal, which occurred at 14:37 in the first period.
 
Robert Morris came back with its own goal from Mantenuto at 6:33 in the second period.
 
Best scored his eighth goal of the season at 18:18 in the second period to put the Lakers in the lead for the second time during the game. Whittaker had an assist.
 
The Colonials capitalized on the power play with a goal from Moore at 9:27 in the third period.
 
One minute and fifty-six seconds into overtime, Robillard scored to win the game 3-2 for Robert Morris.
 
Both team went 1-for-6 on the power play.
 
Mercyhurst goalie Brandon Wildung stopped 25 out of 28 shots on net. Robert Morris goalie Dalton Izyk saved 36 out of 38 shots.
 
The Lakers are back in action on Thursday when they visit Canisius for a 7:05 p.m. contest.
