Men's Ice Hockey to Matchup with Robert Morris in Home-and-Home Series

The Matchup

The Mercyhurst men's ice hockey team will play in their last home-and-home series of the season against Atlantic Hockey Opponent Robert Morris.

Weekend Recap

The Lakers had their last non-conference matchup against Bowling Green on Saturday and fell 3-0.

Last Meeting

The Lakers and Colonials met back in December for a home-and-home series, where Mercyhurst won the first game 4-3 in overtime and tied the second game 2-2.

Scouting Robert Morris

With an overall record of 16-10-4 and a conference record of 12-9-3 the Colonials are sitting in forth place in the Atlantic Hockey standings with 27 points.
Robert Morris is coming out of a weekend series with Bentley where they lost 3-0 before tying the next night 1-1.
Brady Ferguson is leading Robert Morris in assists (27) and points 44. Daniel Leavens is next with 36 points and Alex Tonge has 33 points. They also lead the Atlantic Hockey in points.
In net the Colonials have Francis Marotte with a record of 13-6-3. He has earned a 1.90 goals against average and a .939 save percentage.

Mercyhurst has an overall record of 11-15-4 and a conference record of 10-10-4, putting them in sixth place in the Atlantic Hockey standings with 24 points.
Derek Barach is leading the Lakers roster in assists with 22 and points with 26. Jonathan Charbonneau is leading in goals with 13. Joey Duszak is leading the freshmen in points with 15.
Between the pipes are Colin DeAugustine and Brandon Wildung. On top is DeAugustine with a 2.82 GAA and a .917 save percentage, giving him a 5-6-2 record.

The Lakers will head to Canisius College on Thursday February 23 where the puck drops at 7:05 p.m.
