Mercyhurst (10-12, 8-10) is tied with Slippery Rock for fourth place in the PSACÂ West Division while Seton Hill (11-12, 8-11) is in sixth.
The Lakers won on Jan. 11 against the Griffins, 63-62.
Lorenzo Collier scored 15 points, including the go-ahead three-pointer, for Mercyhurst.
Durrell McDonald had nine points while
Connor Polce and
Malcolm Walters added eight points apiece to the Laker effort.
John Majors grabbed six rebounds and
Kordell Holness-Lightbody finished with four steals. For host SHU, Noah Davis led the way with 18 points while Fernando Salsamendi totaled 13 points and seven rebounds.
McDonald leads the MU offense with 14.5 points per game while Collier averages 10.6. McDonald is also the team's leading rebounder with 4.4 boards per game.
H'ian Hale leads the PSAC with 2.4 steals per game while averaging 4.0 assists.
SHU's Noah Davis averages 17.2 points and ranks eighth in the PSAC while Spencer Casson rates first in blocks (4.3) and fifth in rebounds (8.2).
Mercyhurst has won all seven meetings in the programs' all-time series.
