ERIE, Pa. -- The Mercyhurst men's basketball team will host non-conference opponent Roberts Wesleyan for a 7 p.m. tip-off on Monday at the Mercyhurst Athletic Center.
After opening their season with three straight wins, the Lakers dropped a 79-62 non-conference decision at Lake Erie in their last time out on Nov. 22.
Lorenzo Collier is Mercyhurst's leading scorer, averaging 15.0 points per game.
Malcolm Walters has averaged 10.8 points and 4.8 rebounds.
The Lakers (3-1) have done well on the glass thus far, averaging 39.5 rebounds per game to their opponents' average of 30.5.
Patrick Smith has an average of 7.5 rebounds and
Dontae Williams is averaging 5.5 rebounds. Also,
Dajuan Dent averages four boards and one block per contest.
The Redhawks (6-0) are off to a fast start after finishing with a 3-24 record last year. Wins in 2017-18 have come against Nyack (twice), Felician, Notre Dame of Ohio, Chestnut Hill and Georgian Court.
RWC is led in scoring by Justin Vaughn, who has averaged 13.2 points per game. Isaiah Lewis is averaging 12.2 points and 3.8 assists while Jean Toussaint had averages of 10.5 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.7 blocks.
