The Mercyhurst field hockey team will travel to Bloomsburg Saturday to take on Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) opponent (#9) Bloomsburg. The Lakers are coming off of a 6-2 victory over Converse College. Mercyhurst (5-5, 1-2 PSAC) dropped a 2-0 game to Bloomsburg earlier in the season.
 
Mercyhurst is led by senior forward Nicolette Tomani who has posted six goals on the season, and one assist for 13 points on the season. Clare Ahern and Bryna Cook have each posted three goals through the season, Ahern also contributed five assists. Leah Rogers, Taylor Balser, And Paige Albright are also multiple goal scorers for the Lakers each finding net twice this season. Victoria Triaga is the primary goal keeper for the Lakers she has started all ten games having a 5-5 record she has 1.84 goals average and has a .643 save percentage.
 
Bloomsburg is led by MacKenna Mahan who has seven goals, four assists totaling 18 points. Followed closely by Abby Sauder, he has six goals, a pair of assists for 14 points. The primary goalie for Bloomsburg is Dana Sheply, she has a 4-4 record with a 1.83 goals average and a .706 save percentage.
