The Mercyhurst volleyball team will travel to California (Pa.) Friday and Seton Hill on Saturday to engage in two Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference games over the weekend. Mercyhurst (6-12, 1-6 PSAC) is going into this weekends of competition after a 3-2 loss to Gannon.
 
Shelby Chesko leads the Lakers offense recording 168 kills averaging a 2.67 kills per set. Alyssa Zirnheld, and Katie Baird have both broken the 100 kill threshold, recording 144 kills and 139 kills respectively. Makayla Mollé leads assists with 353 on the season a 5.6 assist per set average, she also heads aces for the team with 23. Abby Rose posts the second most in assists and aces with 196 and 18 respectively. Hannah Vuylsteke, Zirnheld, and Baird all contributed 17 aces on the season.
 
Vuylsteke leads the team in digs recording 245 on the season, averaging 3.89 per set. Alyssa Kling heads the block category as she has posted 54 blocks on the season, of which nine are solo-blocks. Chesko follows closely behind in blocks posting 42 on the season having 42, with six solo-blocks.
 
 
California (Pa). Friday, 7 pm:
California (11-7, 5-2 PSAC) is coming into this contest in a two game losing streak dropping a 3-1 game to Edinboro and a 3-0 contest against Seton Hill. The Vulcans are led by Rachel Priore who has recorded 265 kills on the season averaging a 3.96 kills per set. Ashley Leto is the second largest contributed having 155 kills, and Tina Bellhy rounds out the top three attackers with 125 kills on the season.
 
Leto leads digs contributing 237 digs posting a 3.49 dig per set average. Tina Hellhy leads blocks with 62 on the season, she has nine solo-blocks.

Seton Hill Saturday, 1 pm:
Seton Hill (13-3, 6-1 PSAC) comes into this contest on a five game win streak against PSAC opponents. The Griffins are led by Leah Bisignani who has posted 159 kills, and averaging a 3.18 kills per set. Viktoria Farian follows closely behind registering a 2.85 kills per set average, and posting 154 kills on the season. Maggie Murray has recorded 252 assists on the season, she has a 5.25 assist per set average.
 
Mary Baich has recorded 229 digs on the season posting a 4.16 digs per set average. Bisignani has the most blocks for the Griffins with 38, four of which were solo-blocks.
