ERIE, Pa. –
Bryna Cook scored the game winning overtime goal in the Mercyhurst field hockey team's 2-1 victory over Indiana (Pa.) during Tuesday's Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) matchup. Mercyhurst moves to a 6-6 overall record while moving to 2-3 PSAC record.

Katie Lechner, scored her fourth goal of the season, a minute and fifty seconds into the overtime period. This is the second game winning goal Cook has scored against Indiana this season as she found net with 90 seconds left in regulation during the two teams first contest earlier this season.
Nicolette Tomani, scored her eighth goal of the season when she scored in the 28
th minute of play unassisted. Tomani beat Indiana's goalkeeper one on one during a fast break to find net, her goal knotted the contest at 1-1.
Indiana's Matti Reightler, assisted by Kimberly Kelly, scored the game's opening goal just shy of the 10 minute mark, grabbing an early 1-0 lead.
Mercyhurst out shot Indiana by recording 13 total shots 10 of which were on goal, compared to the ten posted by Indiana, of which four were on goal. The Lakers were able to record almost twice as many corners, having eight to Indiana's five.
Victoria Triaga was the winning goalkeeper for the days contest, she posted three saves and allowed one goal, during her time in net. Triaga moves to a 6-6 record.
Mercyhurst will return to action next when they host Kutztown on Saturday at 1 pm. The contest will be played on Tulio Field.
