Men's Cagers Look To Snap Skid at Clarion

CLARION, Pa. -- The Mercyhurst men's basketball team will visit Clarion for a 7:30 p.m. Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference matchup on Friday. The Lakers have dropped three straight contests while Clarion owns a perfect 5-0 record at home.

The Lakers are currently 5-6 overall and 3-4 in the PSAC.

Mercyhurst's leading scorer is Durrell McDonald, who is averaging 15.5 points per game. Dent is the Lakers' leading rebounder with 4.8 per game while H'ian Hale paces the squad in assists (45) and steals (28).

The Golden Eagles are led by B.J. Andrews, who has scored 15.4 points per game. Four different Clarion players average double-figures in scoring.

Mercyhurst won the season series against Clarion last season, 2-1, including a victory in the PSAC Tournament. The Lakers have won six of the last seven games in the program's all-time series.
