INDIANA, Pa. -- The Mercyhurst men's basketball team will visit fifth-ranked Indiana (Pa.) for a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference matchup on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
Mercyhurst is coming off a 79-59 win over Edinboro on Wednesday, Jan. 25. The Crimson Hawks (19-2, 14-1), leaders of the PSAC West Division, have won 10 straight contests. That stretch includes an 80-69 win against the Lakers (8-10, 6-8) on Jan. 9.
Mercyhurst's leading scorer is
Durrell McDonald, who is averaging 13.3 points per game, while
Lorenzo Collier is averaging 11.4.
Dajuan Dent is the Lakers' leading rebounder with 4.5 per game while
H'ian Hale paces the squad in assists (4.0) and steals (2.6). Hale leads the PSAC in steals.
IUP is led in scoring by Jacobo Diaz, who averages 14.5 points, while Dante Lombardi chips in 14.0 per game and Anthony Glover averages 13.9. Diaz also has an average of 10.1 rebounds.
Wednesday's matchup will feature two of the top defenses in the PSAC: Mercyhurst (65.6) is rated second while IUP (67.9) is third.
