James Crowe had a 10-point game, finishing with four goals and six assists, as the fourth-ranked Mercyhurst men's lacrosse team earned a 13-9 win over Roberts Wesleyan in non-conference action on Wednesday.
Kurtis Woodland added three goals while
Connor Enright contributed two goals and three assists for the Lakers (12-2), who won their fifth straight contest.
Also for Mercyhurst,
Keyan McQueen scored two goals.
Derek Richards and
Oran Horn put in one goal apiece. Richards,
Sam Crusha and
Shane Endres made assists.
Crusha led the team in groundballs with four pickups.
Greg Weyl caused three turnovers. Winning goaltender
Matt Wells totaled eight saves.
Cody Menzies led RWC with four goals while goalie Keith Keehn had 10 saves.
The Lakers will return to action on Saturday with a 1 p.m. Eastern College Athletic Conference contest at Indianapolis. A Mercyhurst win would clinch the No. 1 seed in the ECAC Tournament.
