CHARLOTTE, N.C. --
Derek Richards scored four goals while
James Crowe and
Colin Greenway put in three each as the 10th-ranked Mercyhurst men's lacrosse team handled 13th-ranked Queens (N.C.) for a 14-6 non-conference victory on Saturday.

Connor Enright and
Keyan McQueen also scored goals for the Lakers (7-1), who earned their fourth consecutive win.
McQueen,
Oran Horn,
Alex Misterman,
Kevin Vaughn and
Kurtis Woodland had assists for Mercyhurst.
Misterman picked up five groundballs while
Shane Endres had four GBs. Endres, Misterman,
Brandon May and
Greg Weyl caused two turnovers apiece and winning goaltender
Matt Wells finished with nine saves.
Spencer Corkery and Garrett Sadler notched two goals apiece for host Queens (7-3).
The visiting Lakers took a 4-1 in the first quarter -- then put in two more in the second to stretch their lead to 6-1 -- and never looked back. Mercyhurst had another 6-1 streak in the second half.
The Lakers outshot Queens, 35-30. Queens had a 17-6 edge in faceoffs.
Mercyhurst will play next on Saturday, Apr. 2, when Lindenwood visits Erie for an 1 p.m. Eastern College Athletic Conference start.
