Men's Ice Hockey Set to Host RIT

  • The Mercyhurst men's ice hockey team welcomes Atlantic Hockey rival RIT on Wednesday.
 Last Time Out
  • The Lakers split their weekend series, this past weekend against AHA Opponent Bentley University. They recorded a 2-1 win on Friday and fell 2-1 on Saturday.
 Last Time Around
  • During last season the Lakers and Tigers matched up four times during the regular season and twice in the post season.
  • The Tigers swept Mercyhurst in January, before the Lakers swept RIT in their last two games of the regular season to earn a home ice advantage going into the Quarterfinals of the AHA Tournament.
  • During the AHA Tournament, the Lakers dropped both games to the Tigers.

  • RIT senior goaltender Mike Rotolo has played in all of the Tiger's games this season. He has a .895 save percentage and a 2.26 goals against average.

  • Dutra is on a four game point streak. In the last four games, he has recorded four goals and one assist for five points.
 Next Time Out
  • The Lakers will head to Buffalo, NY to take on AHA Opponent Canisius College on Friday November 25. Puck drops at 7:05 p.m.
