Derek Barach contributed one assist each.

Todd scored the first and only goal of the first period, giving the Lakers a 1-0 lead going into the second period.

Early in the second period, Dominik Florian tied the game up for AIC.

Soon after, Whittaker grabbed his first goal of the game, putting the Lakers back up 2-1. He then scored again at 13:34 to extend MU's lead by two.

AIC then scored four goals to give them a 5-3 lead. The goals were scored by Andrew DeBrincat, Austin Orszulak and Martin Mellberg [2].

The Lakers had six power play opportunities, capitalizing on three of them. AIC had eight power play chance recording goals on three of them.

AIC winning goaltender Alex Murray stopped 26 out of 29 shots. Laker goaltender, junior
