#8 Women’s Lacrosse to Play Gannon Saturday Night

ERIE, PA - The #8 Mercyhurst women's lacrosse team prepares to play a PSAC conference game at Gannon University Saturday night. The Lakers are 9-2 on the season, their most recent game ended in a loss versus the #2 Lock Haven on Wednesday afternoon.

The squad lost to Lock Haven by a score of 10-9 yesterday afternoon, the final goal scored for the Bald Eagles with 15 seconds left in the contest. Seniors Rebecca Himes, Mackenzie Jordan, and Jenna Schlagenhauf were the point leaders in the contest.  Himes also earned her 300th career point, only the second person in Mercyhurst history to do so for the women's lacrosse program.

Gannon is 5-7 this season, losing to West Chester on Wednesday afternoon by a score of 15-9. The Lakers will be playing the Golden Knights at 6:00pm on 4/11.
