ERIE, Pa.- The #12 Mercyhurst women's lacrosse team hosts a pair of Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) contests at Tullio Field this weekend. On Friday, April 18, the Lakers face Kutztown and then on Saturday, April 19, Bloomsburg visits Mercyhurst. Both matches are scheduled for 11 a.m. starts.

Live stats for both games will be available at http://www.sidearmstats.com/hurst/wlax/.

Mercyhurst is 11-2 overall and 7-1 in the PSAC. It won, 15-13, at #7 IUP on Tuesday. Anna LeGrett tallied four goals, a season high, and two assists, while Taylor Ventre scored a career-high four goals. Rebecca Muscella made 12 saves in goal.

Kutztown has a 3-9 record, including a 1-7 league mark. It fell, 23-3, to IUP last weekend. Jillian Spencer led with a goal and an assist in the defeat.

Bloomsburg is 7-5 overall and 5-3 in the PSAC. It has lost each of its last two outings by one goal, falling, 12-11, at Edinboro April 12, and then dropping a 10-9 overtime match to Seton Hill Tuesday. Brigid Kyne and Julie Falk each scored three goals in the Seton Hill match.

The Lakers are tied with Lock Haven for second place in the PSAC, a half-game behind IUP. With wins in each of their last four regular season games, the Lakers would clinch at least a tie for the PSAC title for the second time in program history.

She is the only player in the league to record a goal and an assist in every game this year. Jenna Schlagenhauf is tied for eighth with 43 goals this season. Mackenzie Jordan has registered 31 goals and 11 assists, while Hannah Corton has 24 goals and 12 helpers. Muscella has posted an 8.74 goals against average, fourth-best in the league.

Spencer paces the Kutztown attack with 27 goals. Taylor Sandin has 15 goals and Taylor Stone has added 10 on the year. The Golden Bears are the lowest-scoring team in the conference, averaging 7.1 goals a game.

Falk is Bloom's top scorer, having put up 35 goals and 16 assists. Marisa Moley has a team-high 22 assists to go with 23 goals. Kyne has contributed 28 goals this season. Abbey Burnett has started all 12 games in goal, recording an 8.75 goals against average, good for fifth in the league. The Huskies rank eighth in the PSAC with 11.8 goals per game.
