ERIE, Pa.- The Mercyhurst volleyball team plays four Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) crossover matches at Edinboro University this weekend. On Friday, October 10, the Lakers play Millersville at 2 p.m. and Shippensburg at 5 p.m. The following day, Mercyhurst faces Lock Haven at 12:30 p.m. and Pitt-Johnstown at 3:30 p.m.

Mercyhurst has an 11-5 record, including a 6-3 PSAC mark. It beat Gannon and IUP before falling at Clarion last week. The Lakers rallied from down 2-0 to knock off previously undefeated GU.
Kelly Vitt dished out a career-high 65 assists in the victory.

Millersville is 9-8 overall and 3-6 in the league. It lost to East Stroudsburg and beat Kutztown at home last weekend. Erin Harman scored 20.5 points to lead the Marauders past KU.

Shippensburg has a 9-9 mark, including a 3-6 PSAC record. It lost to Kutztown before sweeping East Stroudsburg at home last weekend. Maura Nolan registered 29 assists in the win over ESU.

Lock Haven has a 12-5 record and a 6-3 PSAC mark. It handled Cheyney and West Chester on the road last weekend. Cody Anderson led the Eagles with 18.5 points against West Chester.

Pitt-Johnstown is 9-5 overall and 5-4 in the conference. It dropped a four-game decision at West Chester before sweeping Cheyney last weekend. Cambria Wierman totaled 18 points in the win over the Wolves.

Sarah Wegrzyn paces the Lakers with 158 points, while
Lexi Stefanov has 147 this season. Vitt has recorded 509 assists, while
Samantha Giardina has 257 digs.

Harman and Katie Lesinski have combined for 354.5 points this year. Victoria Biggins has 529 assists and Brooklyn Smith has compiled 294 digs.

Annie Goeri leads Ship with 189 points. Nolan has totaled 587 assists, good for third in the PSAC, and Laura Plank has 275 digs.

Anderson has been Lock Haven's top scorer this season, putting up 207 points. She ranks third in the PSAC with 197 kills. Jessica Brown has posted 639 assists, second-most in the conference, and Bethany Burns has a team-high 155 digs.

Kendall Mahony leads UPJ with 216.5 points this year. Nikki Oakes and Nicole Curran have teamed up for 489 assists and Devan Orr has registered 307 digs.Â
