ERIE, Pa.- The Mercyhurst field hockey team hosts #3 Shippensburg on Saturday, October 25. The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) match is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start at Tullio Field.

Mercyhurst is 6-7 overall and 4-5 in the PSAC. It won, 6-3, at Seton Hill Wednesday.
Marissa Faso posted her first career hat trick and
Blair Pembleton scored two goals. The six goals are the most by the Lakers in a PSAC match since October 5, 2011, when they scored seven goals against Mansfield.

Shippensburg has an 11-2 record, including an 8-2 PSAC mark. It defeated Kutztown, 2-1, Wednesday. Suzanne Miller and Kylie Huffman each scored for the Raiders.

Pembleton leads the Lakers with 12 goals and six assists. She stands third in the PSAC in goals and points. Faso has put up 10 goals (eighth-most in the conference) and four helpers.
Jess Wess has made all 13 starts in goal, recording a 2.36 goals against average.

Tori Ricker is Ship's leading scorer with eight goals. Emily Barnard has added five goals and Lucy Kauffman has dished out seven assists. Ally Mooney has started 12 matches in net, giving up 0.68 goals per game.
