ERIE, Pa.- The Mercyhurst volleyball team dropped a five-game decision to Seton Hill Saturday afternoon. The Lakers fell by scores of 24-26, 25-20, 25-20, 20-25, and 15-8 in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division match at the Mercyhurst Athletic Center. 

Kelly Vitt dished out 59 assists and Samantha Giardina collected 24 digs. Sarah Wegrzyn scored 18 points, with Lauren Kenny adding 15.5 on the day. 

Mercyhurst fell to 14-9 overall and 9-6 in the conference, while the Griffins improved to 22-3 overall and 12-3 in the PSAC.

The Lakers hit the road next weekend, playing at Slippery Rock and Edinboro.
