ERIE, Pa.- The Mercyhurst field hockey team hosts #7 East Stroudsburg in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) contest on Saturday, October 18. The game is set for a 1 p.m. start at Tullio Field.
 
Mercyhurst 5-6 overall and 3-4 in the PSAC. It beat Indiana (Pa.), 3-1, on Tuesday, as Marissa Faso, Kelsey Lovelace, and Emily Burns each scored for the Lakers. Mercyhurst swept IUP this season, winning at Indiana, 2-1, September 9.
 
East Stroudsburg is 6-5 overall and 5-3 in the league. It won, 6-1, at Mansfield on Tuesday. Ally Roth put up two goals and an assist in the victory.
 
Blair Pembleton leads the Laker offense with nine goals and five assists. She ranks third in the PSAC with 23 points this season. Faso has scored seven goals, while Andrea Goldbach has four goals and a pair of assists. Jess Wess has started all 11 games in net, posting a 2.39 goals against average.
 
Roth has been ESU's top scorer with 15 goals and five helpers. Her 35 points are tops in the league. Jessica Lawville has scored 10 goals. Danielle Ard has tallied a 2.94 goals against average while making 10 starts in goal.
