#15 Women's Lacrosse to Play at Edinboro Tuesday Afternoon

ERIE, Pa.- The #15 Mercyhurst women's lacrosse team travels to Edinboro for a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) match on Tuesday, April 2. The game is set for a 4 p.m. start.

The Lakers are 7-1 this season, including a 2-0 record in conference action. They beat #13 Bloomsburg, 11-10, on March 30. Mercyhurst took a 10-5 lead in the second half before the Huskies rallied to tie the game with 11 seconds to go. Kyla Keefe won the draw control, with Anna LeGrett grabbing the ball and sprinting down the right side. She passed to an open Kayla Minner, who scored with 2.1 seconds remaining.
 
Edinboro has a 4-3 overall mark, along with an 0-2 PSAC record. The Fighting Scots lost, 21-6, to Indiana (Pa.) on March 30. After winning four in a row, Edinboro has dropped its last two outings.
 
Minner and Rebecca Himes each have 23 goals and 18 assists this year. Alisha Catalino is next with 21 goals and 11 assists, while LeGrett has recorded 12 goals an 19 helpers.
 
Shannon Rohrich paces the Scots with 18 goals. Katie Magee has 12 and Rebecca Zajac has 10 in 2013.
 
Mercyhurst has won all five meetings in the series' history.
