ERIE, Pa.- The #14 Mercyhurst women's lacrosse team plays Slippery Rock in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) opener on Tuesday, March 26. The match is scheduled for a 4 p.m. start at Tullio Field.

The Lakers are 5-1 this season, including a 14-5 win over Tiffin on March 22. They have won four in a row, with the last three coming at home. In 2013, Rebecca Himes has scored 19 goals and dished out 13 assists.
Kayla Minner has 13 goals and 15 assists, while
Alisha Catalino has 12 goals and eight helpers.
Slippery Rock is 1-1 this year, having lost, 17-14, at Belmont Abbey on March 23. Holly Webb and Lauren Laubach have each posted six goals and two assists in two outings.
In 2012, the Lakers won, 16-10, at The Rock. Himes scored five goals and totaled two assists. Mercyhurst has won all six meetings with SRU dating back to the 2008 campaign.
