ERIE, Pa.- The Mercyhurst volleyball team hits the road for two Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division matches this weekend. The Lakers play at Seton Hill on Friday, October 25, at 7 p.m. and then face California (Pa.) the following day at 2 p.m.

Mercyhurst is 14-9 this season, including an 8-5 mark in the PSAC. It dropped three out of four matches at the PSAC crossover last weekend.

Seton Hill has a 22-5 record with a 10-3 PSAC mark. It swept four crossover contests last weekend before beating Alderson-Broaddus on Tuesday.

Cal is 20-4 overall and 13-0 in the league. It won all four crossover matches last weekend, losing just one game in the process.

Rachel Crittle leads the Lakers with 250 points (175 kills, 31 aces, 77 total blocks) in 2013. The junior is averaging 0.96 blocks per game, good for eighth in the conference.
Lexi Stefanov has 206 points and
Sarah Vick has 205 on the year.
Kelly Vitt has recorded 411 assists, while
Nicole Texido has 372 digs, which is fifth-most in the league.

Corinne Gahagen paces Seton Hill with 317 points (246 kills, 33 aces, 64 total blocks). Her .352 hitting percentage is tops in the PSAC. Shelby Kyllo has 253.5 points and Courtney Field has 700 assists. Lauren Teed leads the defense with 365 digs.

Laurel Miller is Cal's leading scorer with 326 points (283 kills, 33 aces, 17 total blocks). She averages 3.72 kills per game, second-most in the league. Molly Delaney is next with 279.5 points, while Julie Henderson has dished out 657 assists. Her 9.81 assists per set rank third in the PSAC. Samantha Rudy has collected 343 digs this year.

This weekend marks the end of the first round of PSAC action for the Lakers. They will play seven rematches to close out the regular season.
