ERIE, Pa.- The Mercyhurst volleyball team will play four Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) crossover matches this weekend. On Friday, October 18, the Lakers face Shippensburg at 2 p.m. and Pitt-Johnstown at 7:30 p.m. The following day, Mercyhurst takes on Millersville at 12:30 p.m. and Lock Haven at 6 p.m.

Ryan Patton has guided the Lakers to a 13-6 overall record, including a 7-2 mark in the PSAC. Mercyhurst has won six of its last seven outings, including a sweep of IUP on October 12.

Shippensburg has a 14-6 record and a 6-3 PSAC mark. It enters the weekend on a six-match win streak, having swept five opponents during the run.

Pitt-Johnstown is 13-4 with a 7-2 record in league action. It has won its last seven contests, including home sweeps of Lock Haven, West Chester, and Cheyney last weekend.

Millersville comes into the weekend with a 7-10 overall mark, including a 3-6 record in the PSAC. The Marauders defeated East Stroudsburg and Saint Anselm in their last two matches.

Lock Haven sports a 14-8 record and a 5-5 mark in the conference. After dropping its first four PSAC outings, the Eagles have rallied to win five of their last six.

Rachel Crittle leads the Lakers with 216 points (147 kills, 30 aces, eight block solos, 62 block assists).

Lexi Stefanov have each recorded 154.5 points this season.

Tai Lattimore has 309 in 19 matches.
Nicole Texido has totaled 306 digs, good for fourth in the conference.

Jill Edwards paces the Ship attack with a PSAC-leading 301 kills. Maura Nolan has compiled 658 assists, while Maria Peluso has 258 digs this year. Peluso's ace rate of 0.46 per game ranks seventh in the league.

For UPJ, Marissa Erminio has a team-high 221.5 points (194 kills, nine aces, five block solos, 27 block assists). Allison Mondorff has dished out 584 assists and Katie Svetahor has 209 digs. Beth Kendera leads the PSAC with 1.27 blocks per game and stands fourth in the PSAC with a .365 hitting percentage. Nikki Oakes is averaging 0.58 aces per set, tops in the conference.

Katie Lesinski has scored 182 points (157 kills, 12 aces, five block solos, 16 block assists) to lead Millersville. Jessica Franz has a team-high 349 assists, while Brooklyn Smith has 362 digs, second-best in the PSAC, in 2013. Taylor Smith ranks third with 0.48 aces per game.
