Why did you choose to attend school at Mercyhurst University?
I decided on Mercyhurst because of the rowing program, mainly. Out of all the rowing programs I looked at, even Division One schools, it was the best fit. I also chose Mercyhurst because of the good biology program.

What do you plan to do after college?
I haven't quite decided yet, but I would like to possibly work in conservation.

What is your favorite place or thing to do on campus?
I don't really have free time between rowing and classes, but if I do I like to hang out outside if it's nice out.

If you could choose another sport to play, what would it be, and why?
I would have to say volleyball. I played for six years and still love to play pick-up games.

What is your ideal breakfast for champions?
Breakfast sandwiches are a must! And fruit with yogurt and granola.

For someone who is not from your hometown, what would be the best place to visit or see?
I'm from a small town in the middle of Ohio. There's not much to see, though I'd say the board walk down at the end of Hoover Reservoir, in Galena Ohio. It's a good place to just go walk and hang out.

What is your most memorable moment here at Mercyhurst?
Going to NCAA Rowing championships for the first time my freshman year was kind of mind blowing. It was amazing to compete against the best of the best! It was a lot of fun and I made so many memories with my team and coaches. When we go this year, I'm excited for this year's freshman to go through the same emotions and experiences I did last year.

If any, what music do you listen to before games?
I like to listen to anything from Kid Cudi to Dave Mathews Band, and Keith Urban; anything to keep me calm and relaxed. As Coach Spracklen says, we perform better relaxed.

Who is your favorite pro athlete and why?
I don't really have a favorite pro athlete. Rowing is not a professional sport and I don't follow any other sport, honestly.

Who has had the most influence on your life?
My parents have influenced me the most. They've taught me so much and have always stuck by my side through the rough times and decisions I have made. They will always be there for me and I want to teach my children everything they have taught me.
