MILLERSVILLE, Pa. -- The Mercyhurst University women's tennis team closed out the regular season in dominating fashion, taking an 8-1 decision over the Millersville Marauders.  The Lakers closed out the year with a record of 12-6.

Caroline Bristol, Courtney Thompson, Sarah Baich, Taylor Wedlake, and Courtney Conway each turned out impressive performances during singles play.  Afterwards, Mercyhurst would sweep all three doubles matchs to close out the season.

The Lakers will await their postseason fate as to whether or not they will qualify for the various Pennsylvania State Athletics Conference playoff tournaments.
