ERIE, Pa.- The Mercyhurst volleyball team takes on rival Gannon Tuesday night at the Mercyhurst Athletic Center. The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division match is slated for a 7:05 p.m. start.

The Lakers are 16-6 overall and 4-5 in the PSAC. They went 3-0 last weekend, beating three PSAC Eastern Division foes. Mercyhurst defeating Kutztown, Cheyney, and West Chester in a crossover event held at Gannon University.
 
Becky Leusch has been one of the team's top players in 2012, totaling 191 kills, 67 blocks, and a .251 attack percentage. Amanda Balasko has posted 155 kills, 23 aces, and 176 digs. Another senior, Kiera Rebert, has 716 assists, 159 digs, and 26 aces.
 
Gannon sports a 16-3 overall mark with an 8-1 conference record. The Lady Knights also went 3-0 last weekend, beating the same three East opponents as Mercyhurst. Lauren Sazama leads the team with 280 kills, 229 digs and 40 aces. She is also hitting .310 on the season.
