ERIE, Pa.- The Mercyhurst volleyball team will host Daemen in a non-conference match Tuesday, October 23, at the Mercyhurst Athletic Center. The Lakers enter Tuesday on a seven-match winning streak.

Coach
Ryan Patton's club has a 20-6 overall record, including a 7-0 mark at home. The Lakers defeated California (Pa.) in five games October 19 and then beat IUP in four games the following day.
Daemen, an NAIA member, is 17-8 in 2012. The Wildcats lost three of four contests at the BLT Sportswear Crusader Classic in Livonia, Michigan, last weekend. Daemen has played two Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) programs this season, sweeping West Chester September 15 and taking down Edinboro in straight sets October 9.
Becky Leusch leads with 231 kills. She is hitting .249 with 75 total blocks.
Amanda Balasko has 182 kills, 213 digs, and 26 aces.
Kiera Rebert has totaled 801 assists to go with 184 digs and 28 aces.
Daemen is led by Joanna Fretthold, who has 241 kills and 275 digs. Katie Auge has 290 digs, while Chelsea Turcer has 360 assists.
