The Lakers have now won 10 of 11 contests as they head into another weekend of Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference play when they host Slippery Rock and Clarion on Friday and Saturday, respectively.

The duo of Chelsea Jensen and Becky Leusch proved too powerful for The Storm as Jensen notched 22 kills and Leusch 10 kills.  Jensen was highly effective from her outside hitter position, registering a .415 attack percentage.

Kiera Rebert aided the offensive attack with 24 assists.

Defensively, libero Kendall Ashworth paced the Lakers with 19 digs while Jensen also placed in double-figures with 11 digs.  Leusch teamed with Justine Smith for four blocks each.

Next up for the Lakers is a 7 p.m. matchup against Slippery Rock at the Mercyhurst Athletic Center on Friday, October 1.
