WEST CHESTER, Pa. -- The Mercyhurst College women's volleyball team remained undefeated in Pennsylvania State Athtletic Conference play with a 3-0 win over West Chester, 25-17, 25-14, 25-17.

Becky Smith led the Lakers' offense with eight kills while Chelsea Hennigan added seven kills and Kiera Rebert contributed six kills. Hennigan and Rebert also led the team with seven and five assists, respectively.

Defensively, Kendall Ashworth paced the Lakers with 13 digs while Justine Smith led the Lakers with two blocks.

The Lakers are back in action on Sept. 24 when they travel to Edinboro for the first PSAC West matchup.
