INDIANA, Pa. -- The Mercyhurst College volleyball team downed Alderson-Broaddus Saturday afternoon, taking the four-set match 25-22, 28-26, 16-25, 25-19.

A pair of Lakers in Amanda Balasko and Becky Leusch posted double-digit kills efforts, with Balasko registering 11 and Leusch 10.  Kiera Rebert and Chelsea Hennigan again proved to a powerful 1-2 punch at setter,combing for 36 helpers.  Libero Kendall Ashworth contributed 12 digs while six others aided with three or more digs in the all-around effort.

Becky Leusch posted eight block assists while Justine Smith added two block solos and five block assists.

The Lakers return home to the friendly confines of the Mercyhurst Athletic Center on Tuesday, Nov. 14 when they host Notre Dame College.  Game-time is set for 7 p.m.
