ERIE, Pa. -- The Mercyhurst College women's tennis team extended its winning streak to five with an 8-1 win over Millersville on Saturday.

The Lakers have not lost since Feb. 20 and are currently ranked eighth in the NCAA II Atlantic Region, with the top eight teams qualifying for the NCAA Championships.

Kim Ezzo ranks 11th regionally in singles and ranks fifth in doubles with partner Meghan Raynor.  Mercyhurst Prep graduate and two-time state doubles title winner Rebecca Haener has been a strong force for the Lakers in her freshman year.  She has played primarily at No. 3 singles and teamed with fellow freshman Jenna Raynor at No. 2 doubles.
