ERIE, Pa. -- The Mercyhurst College men's basketball team hosts Clarion on Wednesday, January 28th at 7:30 p.m. to start a three-game homestand for the Lakers.

Mercyhurst looks to snap a 10-game losing streak to the Golden Eagles, last winning in the 1987-88 season by an 86-81 decision.

The two squads meet for the fi rst time as conference opponents in a PSAC Western Division matchup. The Golden Eagles are 0-4 in the conference while the Lakers enter with a 1-3 record in the West. Despite the slow start, both teams have playoff potential as Clarion started 0-2 last year and 0-4
two year ago to make the PSAC playoffs each year.
