CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- The No. 9 Mercyhurst College Lakers finished eighth at the National Wrestling Coaches Association/Cliff Keen Duals.
The Lakers fell to Upper Iowa, 22-17, to round out the 2009 NWCA Duals with a 2-3 record, improving upon their 1-2 performance a year ago.
Payne Lint and
Nathan Sharp Mercyhurst as both posted major decisions at 125 pounds and heavyweight, respectively.

Trevor Gallo (184).
Mercyhurst moves to 7-4 on the year as the Lakers prepare to host No. 11 Pitt-Johnstown on Saturday, January 17. Game-time is set for 7 p.m. in the Mercyhurst Athletic Center.
