O'Donoghue tied for the team lead in scoring this past week with five points in three games, helping Mercyhurst go 2-1 during the week. O'Donoghue had a pair of assists in the Lakers' 4-2 conference win over Niagara on Tuesday, scored the game-winning goal with 4:55 left in regulation against #14 Rensselaer on Friday, and then had two more assists in Saturday's loss to the Engineers. O'Donoghue had a goal and four assists for the week, finished the week with a +3 rating, and blocked four shots - the most by a Laker forward. His first assist on Tuesday was his 50th career helper. He now has 90 career points - ten shy of becoming the 16th player in the Division I era at Mercyhurst to record 100 career points.
