Griffin led the men's cross country team to a third place finish at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational, hosted by Roberts Wesleyan, by finishing fourth overall out of 144 runners. It was the third consecutive week that Griffin has led the Lakers this season and was his third consecutive top five finish at Roberts Wesleyan. He finished the 8k course in 26:06
