Chiasson had three goals and two assists to help the Lakers go 2-0-1 in three conference games this past week. The senior had at least one goal, and one point, in all three games and now leads the team with 12 goals on the season. In Tuesday's 5-2 win over Canisius, Chiasson scored the game-winning goal at the 5:53 mark of the third period. It marked his 50th career goal and his 100th career point, becoming the 15th player in the Division I era at Mercyhurst to reach the century mark in scoring. It was his seventh career game-winning goal. In Friday's 1-1 tie with Army, Chiasson scored the only Mercyhurst goal early in the first period. He then tied a career-high with three points (one goal, two assists) in the Lakers' 8-1 victory over Army on Saturday. He had three points on four different occasions prior to Saturday and had not scored three points in a game since March 5, 2011. Chiasson was a +4 during the week and scored the first goal of the game in both games against the Black Knights. He is now fourth on the team with 22 points this season (12 goals, 10 assists).
