Stevens earned the PSAC West Defensive Player of the Week and was honored by Beyond Sports Network as the kick returner of the week in Division II as the Lakers knocked off Gannon on Saturday. Stevens registered a fumble recovery on Gannon's first possession of the game, which eventually led to a Mercyhurst touchdown. On Gannon's next posession, Stevens came up with an interception. Stevens also played a huge role on special teams, as he returned a kickoff 83 yards for a touchdown to snap a 14-14 tie late in the second quarter.
