Taylor Balser, was selected as the Mercyhurst female athlete of the week, as she led her team in scoring during the field hockey's 6-2 victory over Converse College. Balser scored the first goal of the game in the second minute of play.  Balser scored again in the second half in the 40th minute of play when she smacked a corner.
