Annalise (Anna) Batcheller is in her second year as the Graduate Assistant Coach for the Women’s Water Polo team. Batcheller graduated from Azusa Pacific University in 2019 with a B.S. in History and a minor in Liberal Studies. In 2019, she helped lead the Azusa Pacific Cougars with posting a 19-14 record, the best finish in the program’s history. The Cougars ended the season ranked #22 in the nation, breaking the previous record of #24 set in 2018. Over the course of her career with the Cougars, she had 104 total goals and 84 assists.
After graduating in 2019, she landed a head coaching position at Beckman High School in Irvine, California. For the 2019 season, the Beckman Patriots ended with an 11-11 record and had two seniors continue on their water polo careers with collegiate programs. Batcheller was also named an assistant coach for the Southern California water polo club, SET, where she led their 18U Grey team to a 5th place finish at the Junior Olympics in 2019.
