Bethany Brun is in her first season as an assistant coach with the Mercyhurst women’s volleyball team. Prior to joining the Lakers, Brun spent four years as a volunteer assistant coach with the Central Tech High School and Roosevelt Middle School girls’ volleyball teams.
A 2011 graduate of Mercyhurst University (then College), she spent three years serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA at Mercyhurst University within the Service Learning office. Since 2014, she has been the Coordinator of Service Learning at Mercyhurst University where her main duties include connecting students with volunteering opportunities around Erie and serving as a liaison between the local community organizations and the university. She holds a Bachelors degree in both Religious Studies and Sociology and is currently pursuing a masters in Organizational Leadership at Mercyhurst.
