Ellie McDougall enters her first season as a graduate coach for the women's soccer program. The 2016 season will mark the fifth-straight season McDougall will represent the Lakers as a member of the women's soccer program.
McDougall was a regular goalkeeper for the Lakers since coming to campus as a freshman in 2012. She posted a 5-8-0 record with three shutouts in her rookie year.
As a sophomore, McDougall stood in net for all 19 matches, finishing with a 9-9-1 record. McDougall tied for sixth in the conference with five shutouts, including a stretch of three-straight shutouts in season.
McDougall started 20 more matches in net during her junior and senior seasons. She was 5-2-0 and sported a 1.29 goals-against average in 2015, including two shutouts.
McDougall is pursuing her Master's degree in organizational leadership with a focus in sports leadership.
